So in this case, we learned that there  was a hip issue specific to a stress fracture on the compression side of the femur. In addition to my specialty as primary care sports medicine,  I am also certified in neuromusculoskeletal medicine and osteopathic manipulative treatment. If this patient was sent to me for consultation  on manual treatment, I would take an approach with using muscle energy, ligamentous articular strain, and oscillatory inhibition.
